[Katrina-IT-Volunteers] Looking for update

I'm still uneasy about a story I was told my first day of doing
volunteer work on the computer banks. A young man, in his 20s, told
me that he and his wife had survived the storm, then got flooded out of
their home, and made it to one of the overpasses where they were told
to wait for help.
They picked his wife up first, but she fell just as she was trying to
get into the helicopter, and landed on the bridge. The helicopter
landed again, and took her away, still breathing but unconcious. They
promised to come back and get him, but never returned. We were
searching everywhere to try and learn her fate, but never did, at
least, not while I was there.
Do anyone know of the final outcome, or if his wife (or her body) was
ever located?
Thanks,
Joe
