Convention Center evacuee computer assistance volunteers - we are still on
hold. Here's the latest information we have on shelter situations popping
up for Rita evacuees.
For now we can assume the Convention Center is closing Friday as planned and
Katrina evacuees are going to be safely housed somewhere else. Where we go
from there is a question waiting to be answered. So just take care of
yourselves and loved ones for now and we'll pass along information as we get
it.
