[Katrina-IT-Volunteers] missing a shift

On Monday, those who do the volunteer check-in would not have given
me a wristband had I not been signed up for my shift before the day
started, when Monday's schedule was faxed to them.
(There were several gentlemen with an AA leadership team that were
refused entry because their team leader had not faxed the list of
people who would be reporting for duty on Monday, even though they
had all been there Sunday, one still wearing Sunday's wristband.)
In other words, it seems to me there is no way to sign up for a shift
once the day's schedule has been delivered to those doing the
volunteer check-in, at least for those of us using the wristband
system to get into the Center.
