The following URL, seemed to be helpful.
http://www.ldol.state.la.us
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
I added this one to the FAQ in the notebook today.
Which had a nice link to the actual login page on the laworks.net site.
http://lavos.laworks.net/loginintro.asp?action=la_unemployment
Maybe someone could grab one of the laptops in the kids computer area
(possibly non-win ce), which seemed empty, to help folks log into the
unemployment site.

Another issue ... if you all could help.
I was trying to help one Mr. Joseph file his LA unemployment claim
on www.laworks.net as required by LA Works Deptt of Labor as well
as Texas Workforce Commission.
I could not log him in.
Out of curiosity I tried to do from a regular computer at home (a Mac
OSX using
Firefox) and it worked.
Is there something about the OS on the PICs that would not allow a
cookie
to be set or to be able to log in ? From its behaviour (instantaneous
page not
found), it seems that it never made the round trip to the server.
Comments ?
If he comes around tomorrow and one of us has the privilege of helping
him,
and being not successful, please consider trying from a non-WinCE
computer.
Thanks.

I'm concerned that in the past a Red Cross volunteer would periodically
wipe down (with disinfectant wipes) the work areas, and that doesn't
seem
to be happening anymore. (It wasn't tonight or Sunday.) If they don't
do it, I'm thinking it might be a good idea if we do.
I guess I was both today.
I wiped several computers when they were unoccupied.
I could not do all. Maybe we can do it periodically on random computers
as they
become free. What do you guys think of the disinfectant spray ? Could
a thin
spray of it on keyboards potentially damage them ? A thin spray dries
off pretty
quick.
On my first day at ACCB, I must remark ... this is a fantastic setup.
Kudos to all
involved.
