[Katrina-IT-Volunteers] Computer clocks not set correctly

On my last shift there was a person who could not fill out a job
application because it prompted him to enter in the dates that he had
worked, but the clock on the computer was set to something like Feb. 2,
2005 so it wouldn't let him fill out the form because the computer was
indicating the dates he worked were in the future. I corrected the
computer clock and it fixed the problem for this individual, but I am
not sure if the clocks are automatically reset (to some wrong date/time)
when the computers are rebooted. This may also be a problem if people
are filling out other forms where (what the computer thinks) is the
current date is automatically filled in. In this case, it might not be
caught and cause who knows what kind of bureaucratic issues. Just
something for us to look for and be aware of.
