[Katrina-IT-Volunteers] A Few Questions to Help Out Newbies

Hi All,

I am a newbie to this list as well.  I've read all the info on the website, 
and I THINK I know how everything works, but would one of you who have been 
through the volunteer check-in process mind sending step by step details to 
the list?  I think that might help some of us who haven't been to the 
volunteer center yet.

Some other questions:

**Are 10 volunteers per shift for the public computers still needed now that 
there are less evacuees?

**What shifts (or hours) are generally understaffed or overstaffed?

**Is there any kind of orientation or should new volunteers expect to hit 
the ground running?

**What is parking like down there?
