I have re-subscribed to this only temporarily.

That was a typo that most people figured out. I actually signed up and
showed up at 11am.
This looks like a desperate attempt to shift the blame to me. It's my
fault for giving you this.
It doesn't matter. I got two private e-mails from people who got the
message. One said: "Thanks for the tip." Another came from another
person who had twice tried to volunteer. I also found an article in the
_Houston Chronicle_ on this very subject:
