[Katrina-IT-Volunteers] ADMINISTRIVIA: concern about list volume

A lot of us have questions, and the discussions we are starting about
"best practices" are very important.

I am *very* *concerned* about people unsubscribing due to list
volume. "Baby, please don't go!"

If it gets to be too much, there is an option to switch to "digest
distribution", where you will get individual messages all batched up.

I do NOT recommend the digest version, because it means important messages
may be delayed as much as a day. But if that's our only choice before
losing you, then go for it.

To switch to digest, go here:

Scroll to the very bottom of the page, enter your email, and select
"edit options". You'll be prompted for a password. If you don't have it
(you won't if I added you manually) you can request it be emailed to you.

If you have any questions or issues with the mailing list, please do
not hesitate to contact me. Thanks!
