[Katrina-IT-Volunteers] City Council thank you to volunteers Thursday, 10/27

Sent this out last night and just found that it had a typo and never went

There is supposed to be a presentation at tomorrow's (Thursday, 10/27)
city council meeting at 5:20 p.m. thanking the Katrina volunteers at the
convention center with specific mention of the evacuee computer assistance
volunteers from AMD.  Their community relations manager, Ann Stafford,
asked me for an educated guess about how many folks helped with the
database/intake computers and the public computers for evacuees in the
living areas.

I haven't heard more about it in the last few days, so I'm not sure it's
still happening, but it would be worth tuning in.  I know it's on channel
6 if you have Time Warner cable, but don't know about the other carriers.
