Thursday July 19 at 10:30- The 13 Guitar Rumble returns to Austin, Texas at the Continental Club, in beautiful south Austin on historic South Congress Ave. In honor of the late, great Link Wray - thirteen of Austin's toughest guitar slingers will be sluggin it out, string to string on such fave Wrayve-ups as  Ace of Spades, Stilleto, Run Chicken Run, Jack the Ripper and more. At midnite, all thirteen guitars gather on the stage to blast out the only instrumental with balls enough to be banned from radio - 1958's "Rumble"!! We killed 'em at Antones and London's Pipeline Festival last year and this year's event brings the Rumble to the Continental, Link's favorite club in the U.S. 3 Balls of Fire close the evening featuring a new line-up with former JoJo Gunne bassist Jimmie Randall and Austin veteren Mark Evans on drums.

Then later that evening:  Ruta Maya off South Congress with Jenny Wolfe, The Ugly Beats, Freddie Steady 5 CD release -"Tex-Pop" -featuring Dennis Keller of Fever Tree and Mike Claxton of the Sherwoods. 3 BALLS OF FIRE close the show, midnite - 1:00am

Saturday, July 28  Ego's Lounge    NAMM weekend  3 Balls of Fire close midnite-2am.
